Really, there has been only one legit Sora vs Riku battle in the lobby room of Hollow Bastion. We can however clearly see how strong pre Keyblade Riku is compared to pre Keyblade Sora based on Tidus's words in the first game. In the end Riku and Sora are meant to be formidable equals, but my opinion is that Riku is the tougher warrior.
