A prodigious 1940's Urbano Zaccagnini table lamp on a heavy mahogany base. The hand-thrown ceramic body is covered in a glossy, white glaze and decorated with thick, horizontal striations and dark bands of Asian-inspired ornaments, as characteristic of much of Zaccagnini's work from this period.. An extremely rare Zaccagnini Disney Pluto Sitting. Likely to be made by Mario Bandini in the late 1930's early 1940's. Polychrome Ceramic. Pluto does show signs of wear from age/storage. There are some paint and ceramic chips to the eyelids, ears, leg and back. He stands at 17.2cm. Please see pictures for further details. Will be well packaged to avoid any movement or damage during transit.
